I just returned with Donna Warner
from a book event with the Penetang Book Club on Oct. 6, hosted by Sharon Darby. These
ladies know how to have fun! We not only discussed SHROUD OF ROSES, but many
other Canadian and international books, and a few bottles of wine enlivened the
conversation. Sharon made a delicious dessert called the Blueberry Boy Bait,
and the next day gave us a tour of historic Penetanguishene. What a lovely fall
day it was in the near north. The club promised to have us back soon with
TARGETED, the first joint venture between Donna and me, due out Dec 5th.
